The definition of "original sin" is the fallen state of humanity,with the very moment of our human birth marking the separation from our perfect, holy, godlike selves.  This implies that our very existence is a sin, that we are born sinners, live out the entirety of our lives as sinners, and we die sinners. No matter how good, pious, holy, kind, giving, compassionate, unselfish, or loving we are, we are doomed to a life of sinning simply because we ARE.

This idea makes about as much sense as saying that the photographs at right are pornographic.  

Set aside the old ideas. They don't work anymore.  Think critically. Look at things differently.  Question authority. March to your own drummer and make up your own mind about this life and who you are within it.

AND NEVER EVER doubt your worth in this world.
